Hello!

My name is Alisha Jordan. I was born and raised in Ripley, TN where I met my husband Rhett in high school. We were married in 2013 and moved to Cordova. I graduated from the University of Memphis in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and began teaching that fall. Recently, we made the decision for me to stay home with our two small kids, Avery and Brooks.

We have been members of Briarwood since 2014. I am so excited to be serving as the children’s director! I’ve always had a passion for kids and investing into their lives. I grew up in church and working in the nursery, children’s church and VBS activities. At the young age of 8, during a VBS at my home church, I asked Jesus into my heart. It has been a joy to serve Christ throughout all the opportunities He has given me.

My favorite verse is John 16:33 “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
